BLOG 101: I AM MORE THAN THE 24 YEAR OLD VIRGIN (TIPS FOR VIRGINS)

Who the fuck am I?

My name is Love Atiya,

I’m sure I’ll talk about why I changed my name at some point on the podcast but I digress.

Whether you know me for my animal activism, transparent sex related content or as the homeschooled actress from New York City who moved to Atlanta, GA to follow her dreams.

Regardless, I’ve realized I mayyyy have been a tad bit pigeon held.

Isn’t it crazy how we can sometimes get sucked into what we assume to be people's perception of us and we try so hard to be that person. Which leads to things like people pleasing, guilt & shame.

When my first few videos on TikTok went viral people from all over the world started reaching out to me asking for advice, tips and examples on ways to enhance or start their sex life.

I made it clear that I can’t give anyone advice when it comes to “losing” or more so sharing their virginity because their journey is their journey.

If you’re curious though some things I did mention were:

Be sure you’re not making decisions because you feel pressured.

Make sure you have a healthy relationship with yourself sexually first.

Make sure you have a healthy relationship with your gut and listen to your intuition.

Only do it when you truly understand that your value does not depend on your virginity. It is a concept.

If you truly feel ready, be sure to use protection and if he or she tries to convince you or otherwise…. Run

With all of that being said and with my titkok success on the ride, I began to call myself a budding sexologist!

I was homeschooled as a child and did a lot of self teaching. My mom was also very mindful and transparent when it came to teaching me about sex and sexual health when I was young.

I decided I was a “budding sexologist” but it wasn’t until recently that I realized… I am really just me.

No labels, no titles, no expectations.

This journey started with me speaking candidly about my sexual experiences & somehow turned into everyone believing I knew it all or more so knew more than I’d learned thus far.

The intent was to always share as I learned.

So I humbly thank you all for your trust and support and am so grateful to begin this new chapter with you.
