What is a nipple orgasm?
This is a question I have received multiple times.
And for those who have asked… It is an orgasm that you experience genitally when stimulating your nipples. So imagine the feeling of an orgasm but without touching your lower genitals at all.
Although the answer is so simple, it is a gentle reminder that we’ve been taught that sex and pleasure has to be this complicated anomaly when in reality it’s as simple and fun as we make it.
I had my first Nipple Orgasm when I was around 28 years old.
I’d found a video of a couple mutually maserbating (ya’ll know it’s my FAVORITE!) the video was about 8-10 minutes but on my end it was on for a good 30 minutes.
I was so enthralled with the characters and the realness of it all. I loved the faces the guy made and the sounds the girl made. They were literally competing to see who could make themselves orgasm first. I would recommend the video to you but I can’t find it ANYWHERE.
Don’t you hate when you find the perfect video and it disappears?!
Anyways, this fantasy lasted a little longer than normal and because I wasn’t distracted looking for other videos, I was able to get fully in my body, calm my body and focus on my pleasure.
Here's how I made my nipple orgasm happen.
I realize now that the two things I was doing was:
I stimulated my nipples in multiple different ways. If I felt myself getting even close to overstimulation it’d switch nipples or techniques. I was also very very VERY gentle and really teased my nipples more than straight up rubbing them (ouch am I right? I mean some people like rubbing and that’s ok! But my nips need light lovin’!)
I realize now that I was also naturally and then intentionally contracting my vulva as I pleased my nipples. My hand never touched my vulva and I never used a toy but I tightened and released my vulva in the way that it naturally contracts when you have an orgasm.
So like… are our nipples a second vulva?
According to our (sometimes) friend google “studies suggest a direct link between nipple stimulation and the activation of the genital sensory cortex in the brain”
That led me to wonder…
What the heck is a genital sensory cortex?
First let me explain what a somatosensory cortex is because you’re going to hear about this in a minute.
“The somatosensory cortex is a region in the brain's parietal lobe that receives and processes sensory information from the body, including touch, temperature, pain, and proprioception (body position).”
Now back to the genital sensory cortex, Google said “the genital sensory cortex, part of the somatosensory cortex, processes sensory information from the genitals, and research indicates it's located in the medial paracentral lobule, with activations from clitoral, vaginal, and cervical stimulation being differentiable.” Basically it’s a part of the middle part of your brain.
Wait, quick pause… I looked up some pictures of the brain and why does it look just like a vulva or what I would imagine the inside weavings of a vulva to look like. THIS makes so much sense as to why the MIND + BODY connection is SO important when it comes to sex.
Oh my god also it makes so much sense now why we call oral sex “giving brain” or “giving head”! Whoever came up with that really did their thing but that’s another talk for another day.
Or is it?
This research has shown me that pleasure is JUST as much mental as it is physical. Actually, for it to be physical it HAS to be mental.
Down the rabbit hole I go looking up how our brains influence sex as a whole. I’m so excited.
Anywho in the meantime I have a video tutorial on how to give yourself a nipple orgasm on my Patreon click here to watch OR you can hear a verbal description on episode 55 of my podcast and you can click here to listen.
I love you to the moon and I thank you for participating in yet another study session with The Ethereal Pleasure Academy.
Xoxo
I love you lots
